Each month the coaching staff at EHP selects a member that is “Better Than Yesterday!” The selected recipient is a great example of EHP’s CREDO—demonstrating compassion, honesty, resilience, perseverance, and tenacity. Nikola (Niko) Todorovic was selected as April’s “Better Than Yesterday” recipient.
Why did you start CrossFit?
My friend Travis Pribula invited me to Crossfit Tundra back in the day to try a WOD once, hooked ever since. So very humbling and fun, constantly varied. (it was rope climbs and thrusters… he knew what he was doing that day 😊)
Why do you continue CrossFit?
I used to go to a traditional gym and do the traditional days (legs, arms, back, bi’s and tri’s.. etc), but I would inevitably always burn out/get bored/tired of those same things. I have never had that feeling with CrossFit.
What has been your greatest achievement since starting EHP?
Getting back some gymnastic movements, ring muscle ups, bar muscle ups, handstand walking… it’s always harder to do these body weight movements when you have a lot of body weight. Currently down ~40lbs from my max weight (270lb –>. 230lb)
How has your life changed since joining EHP?
Ultimately it has got me back on the proper path, healthier lifestyle. Moving better! And always attempting to be better than yesterday. ^ see above… losing 40lbs, coming in doing two sessions (class and then open gym) a day and loving it. It’s really fun to do the monthly challenges EHP’s has and all the events EHP holds. Constantly trying to improve everyone with their seminars.

No matter where you are in your fitness journey, keep going! The best part about EHP is the community and seeing others overcome their challenges! Drives me to work and push harder. Nothing better than seeing someone get their first [insert movement here] and the crowd going wild! 🙂
