EHP Performance uses exercise and a healthy lifestyle approach instead of the use of additional drugs and medications. Our team of professionals help to create an appropriate exercise and nutrition prescription for you and then help you to follow it out.

Karla is the proud CEO and Clinical Director of EHP Performance. She is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP®), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), obtained her International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma (ICSSD), Chiropractic Acupuncture Certificate, Level 1&2 CrossFit trainer Certification and she is a Level 2 USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach.

She became a strength & conditioning specialist in 2016 and a board-certified clinical specialist in orthopedics in 2018. Dr. Sunde’s certification of the selective functional movement screen allows her to assess your most fundamental motion in order to appropriately determine the cause of your pain. Her background in teaching manual therapy along with certifications in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilizations and dry needling will help get you back to doing what you love!

ABOUT DR. FIERSTINE
Mel Fierstine, MSW, LICSW, has served the Fargo-Moorhead area as a clinical social work practitioner for the last 23 years with areas of expertise in mental health, sports social work, interpersonal violence prevention education, gender inclusivity, equity, and community building. As an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Minnesota State University Moorhead, past high school athletic coach, and fitness enthusiast, Mel enjoys being an active member of the community.
Seeking help for your mental health can sometimes feel overwhelming, and Mel is ready to help you take the next steps. Whether you are looking for mental/sports performance training, mental health counseling, or gearing up to tackle those big life goals, you will be met with a relaxed atmosphere and a “judgment-free zone”. Mel can help you harness your current strengths to tackle any challenge!

Robyn Knutson Bueling - MD, CAQ, MS

ABOUT DR. ROBYN
She grew up in North Dakota and Minnesota and completed two undergraduate degrees at the University of North Dakota before finishing a Masters degree there in Exercise Physiology and Biomechanics.
She then spent a few years as the director of off-ice training at the World Arena Ice Hall Training Center, running a strength and conditioning program and teaching jump biomechanics to high-level figure skaters along with an occasional hockey player, speed skater, or martial artist.
Dr. Robyn returned to UND for medical training and received her MD there. She took Family Medicine residency training at the University of Minnesota Creekside/Methodist Hospital program and completed her GME training with a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Minnesota.
She spent a number of years working in the F-M area at Sanford Health before returning to the Minneapolis-St. Paul area due to her kids’ needs. She’s currently practicing at Allina Health.
Throughout her career, Dr. Robyn has been a team physician or medical director for Division I, II, and III athletic programs along with USHL junior hockey, USA gymnastics and US Figure Skating. She has been the lead physician for multiple large wrestling tournaments along with local and regional figure skating and gymnastics events. She’s covered sporting events as a physician, ranging from road cycling to marathons to soccer tournaments to state high school tournaments to National and World Figure Skating. She has often said that her perfect job would be to just be paid to be on a sideline somewhere everyday!! In addition to high school and collegiate coverage, she is currently a Team Physician and member of the international traveling pool for US Figure Skating and is honored to travel the world with their talented athletes!

Dr. Mitch Wolden is an Associate Professor in the University of Jamestown’s Physical Therapy Program in Fargo, ND. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of North Dakota and his Ph.D. from North Dakota State University. Dr. Wolden’s is actively engaged in research and disseminates his work at national conferences and in peer reviewed journals. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy in the area of Orthopedics, and by the Academy of Geriatric Physical Therapy as a Certified Exercise Expert for Aging Adults. Currently, Dr. Wolden serves on physical therapy related committees at the local, state, and national levels.

ABOUT MELISSA
I attended undergraduate school at University of North Dakota and completed graduate school at North Dakota State University. Prior to becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, I worked as a registered nurse in the NICU, and the maternal child resource team. I have been a nurse practitioner for 16 years. I was able to open my own clinic in 2011. It has been a great opportunity to practice medicine, work with healthcare for entire families and do the job I love. I like the variety that family medicine offers and seeing all ages is very rewarding.
I am married to Kelly who is great with our business operations. We have 2 children, Regan and Jake, who are awesome teenagers. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, the lakes, traveling, cooking and many family activities.

Presley is a Mental Performance Coach with Sterling Sport Mindset. She graduated from the University of Western States Sport & Performance Psychology program. As a former competitive gymnast, she understands the mental struggles that athletes often face. Presley works with athletes of all ages experiencing lack of confidence, performance anxiety, skill regression, injury, sport/life balance, and more to teach important mental skills to help them succeed. She currently lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan and enjoys reading, being at the lake, and spending time with family.
